Gorgeous...what on earth is it???
One of many very unusual tropical plants in Peru. It resembled a Bird of Paradise, but I'm not sure if it was related or not? We spent 3 days in the Amazon jungle last July...part of a wonderful 2 week trip to Peru.
Wow, I'm jealous! What a trip that must have been. The flower is striking.
